These stainless steel filters are ideal for hops when brewing beer! Known as hop spiders, hop filters, beer wort cups, wort cups, hop baskets, or just ordinary beer brewing filters, they are located in the brewing kettle and remain in the hops during the brewing process. They are ideal for keeping water on the bottom of the bucket and also helping to prevent clogging of the chiller.

The basket is made of 100% 304 stainless steel. The stainless steel mesh has 300 or 400 microns and, depending on the experience of the home brewer, seems to be the best choice for hops. For granular hops, 300 microns is best and 400 microns is best for whole leaf hops. 400 microns can also be used with granular hops, but 300 microns tends to contain dust more easily.
